Meiyang Chang
BIOGRAPHY
Meiyang Chang(born 6 October 1982 in Dhanbad, Jharkhand) is an Indian actor, television host and singer of Chinese descent. He is an alumnus of the De Nobili School (Dhanbad), Col. Brown School (Dehradun) and Wynberg Allen School (Musoorie). Chang is a third generation Indian-Chinese, with roots in China's Hubei province. He is also a qualified dentist with a degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) from V.S. Dental College and Hospital, Bangalore.
CAREER
Changwas one of the contestants ofIndian Idol 3, a singing competition on Sony Entertainment Television channel. He was among the top 10 finalists on Indian Idol 3 and attained 5th place in the competition with public votes. He was eliminated on August 25, 2007. Meiyang Chang anchors the fourth season of Indian Idol 4 along with his co-hosts Deepali, Parleen, Emon, Abhishek and Husaain Kuwajerwala.
