BIOGRAPHY
Badshah was born on 19th November 1985 into a Punjabi family in Delhi. Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, better known by his stage name Badshah. He is an Indian Rapper, Music Producer, Composer, Lyricist, Film Producer & Record Producer who best-known for his rapping in Punjabi, Bollywood, and Haryanvi songs. His father is from Haryana and in his own words, “I have a lot of Haryana in me”. He did his schooling from Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura, Delhi where he used to perform on his school choir. His initial wish was to become an IAS Officer. He obtained his engineering degree from PEC University of Technology in Chandigarh. It was during his college time that he decided to be a musician and shifted his focus entirely to be a musician in future. His wife’s name is Jasmine. Basically she is form UK.
CAREER
Badshah started his career in 2006 alongside Yo Yo Honey Singh in his band Mafia Mundeer. For six long years, he continued working with YoYo Honey Singh. He split from Honey in 2012 and released his independent Haryanvi song Kar Gayi Chull, which was later adopted into the 2016 Bollywood movie, Kapoor & Sons. Besides Honey Singh, he has been associated with several other pop artists like DiljeetDosanjh, Raftaar, GippyGrewal and Aastha Gill among others. Though he made his debut as a playback singer with the Punjabi film Bikkar Bai Sentimental in 2013 but the song which earned him widest recognition is "Abhi Toh Party ShuruHui Hai" from the Hindi film Khoobsoorat in 2014. After the release of this song, he became an overnight star. His track “DJ WaleyBabu” received 7.1 million views within a month of its release on YouTube. He launched his first track in 2006 with famous rapper & singer Honey Singh. He also appeared in Bollywood soundtracks for films like film “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya”, “Khoobsurat”, also collaborated with artist such as GippyGrewal, DiljeetDosanjh, ManjMusik, Raftaar and Aastha Gill.
